1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Please Explain, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on Please Explain for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

Modifying or copying the materials
Using the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
Attempting to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the site
Removing any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
Transferring the materials to another person or "mirroring" the materials on any other server

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Please Explain is a free download. Your first three story timelines are free, after which continued use requires a subscription.

Subscriptions are purchased inside the app and are billed by Apple or by Google, depending on the store you downloaded from. Your payment relationship for that subscription is with Apple or Google under their terms, not with us. We do not receive or store your payment details, and we cannot charge, refund, or cancel a subscription on your behalf.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel through your Apple or Google account settings. Deleting your Please Explain account does not cancel your subscription. See our Refunds and Cancellation page for how to cancel or request a refund.

Unlimited access is subject to fair use, currently up to 50 story explanations per day. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may change; any change applies to future billing periods, not to one you have already paid for.

4. Disclaimer

The materials on Please Explain are provided on an "as is" basis. Please Explain makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

5. Limitations

In no event shall Please Explain or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on the site, even if a representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

6. Accuracy of Materials

The materials appearing on Please Explain could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Please Explain does not warrant that any of the materials on its site are accurate, complete, or current. Please Explain may make changes to the materials contained on its site at any time without notice.

Please Explain has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its site and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Please Explain of the site. Use of any such linked site is at the user's own risk.
